TESTING OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT'S  and TYPES OF TESTING

         All the electrical equipment's like generators,power transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, earth switches, current transformers, voltage transformers,panels,relays,bus bars,cables (HV,LV),all types motors etc....are made at factory by customer interest.All are tested at factory before delivering to the customer this test we call as FACTORY TEST,but these heavy machines travels thousands of kilometers as to reach the site which may be remote areas or hill areas.

                    After delivering the site they are installed at respective places by using heavy hydraulic machines or labour. So there may be chance of damage in this process.so it is necessary to check once again before operating the machine.this will come under pre commissioning activities. We call it as ROUTINE TEST OR FIELD TEST OR PRE COMMISSIONING TEST.
